Just stop it! No excuses, this is a great opportunity. If your photos are over six months old it is time to refresh and update your brand images.

Personal Branding is one of those elements in life that is defined by multiple conditions. Is what makes us different from everyone else and pushes pushes awareness of our own personal being beyond our peers. It is comprised of achievements, storytelling, individual motivation, key topics and a recognizable individual visual image. Once you have aligned all your elements how you are visually recognized becomes a key element.

Over the summer I had the opportunity to have some more head shots completed for my online presence and writing endeavors. It seemed relevant to be a little more transparent and further quantify my own personal brand. With that said if you are going to seek out new head shots it is important to use a professional photographer to have them take them. Nothing against the Sears portrait version of headshots but they just don’t have the professional finish that a talented professional photographer has.

I had one goal going in to the shoot. I want a professional head shots by photographers who understood the lighting and art form required to make all those fashion models look gorgeous. I received all that and more at the Get Image Ready event.

The Catwalk For A Cause social event afterwards was a fabulous chance to meet all the professional photographers and participate in the Phoenix Woman’s magazine awards ceremony.

The Get Image Event event was smooth and well orchestrated. The entire process was easy and less stressful than I thought it would be. They even provided additional hair and makeup support when I was onsite. I was a little nervous at 5’4″ I would be the shortest model there. Turns out everyone was just like me and there were even men getting head-shots taken as well! I also got to choose 3 different looks and walked away with 100+ photos.
